Google's Israel web site has been active for years now.
Google now has a sales office in Israel and is looking for more Israeli employees. Their current activities are focused on selling ads, although they are said to also be looking at setting an R&D facility.
on another topic - Google Scholar is now linked to libraries in Israel.
